How it works

Rant transcribes your audio word by word, finds the filler, and splices it out in the silence between words so there's no click and no jump. It knows the difference between the "like" in "I like this" and the "like" that's just hesitation.

It's built specifically not to. Words like "like", "so" and "just" are only removed when there's a hesitation pause beside them and the surrounding grammar says they're filler, so "so that the video converts" keeps its "so", while "So, um, the thing is" loses it. Every cut is listed in the filler report and you can put any of them back.
