Email support@tryrant.app. We reply within one business day, usually sooner.
It helps enormously if you include: what you were doing, what happened instead, and the rough time it happened. If a specific rant went wrong, tell us roughly when you uploaded it. That is enough for us to find it.
Rant is operated by Get Shoppable LLC, a limited liability company registered in New Jersey, USA.

Common things
My video failed to process
Most failures are a clip with no speech in it, a file that is not really a video despite its name, or an upload that did not finish. Try a second clip first. If that also fails, email us. We can see what happened on our side and we would rather know.
The cut removed something I wanted
Every removed word shows struck through in the transcript. Click one to put it back and the video re-renders. If a whole sentence went missing rather than a word, that is a bug and we want to hear about it.
Managing or cancelling your subscription
If you subscribed on the web, sign in at tryrant.app in a browser, open Account and tap Manage or cancel. From there you can switch to annual, update your card, see what you have been billed, or cancel. If you subscribed in the iPhone app, the App Store manages it: open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Either way, cancelling keeps your access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Deleting your account
Also under Account. It removes your account, every job, every transcript, and every video file still in storage, and it cancels a web subscription at the same time. It is immediate and cannot be undone. An App Store subscription is not cancelled by deleting your account; cancel it in your iPhone's subscription settings first.
Where your videos live and for how long
Your original recording and the finished video are kept together, and deleted together: 30 days after the video is made without an active subscription, or up to a year while you have an active subscription. In the app, Share always says how long a video has left, and your rants list warns you in its last week. Save a video to your camera roll and that copy is yours to keep. The privacy policy is specific about all of it, including the one third party that ever sees your audio.
Refunds
If Rant did not do what we said it would, email us and we will refund you. We would rather give the money back than argue about it.
